The fieldcraft capacity is coaching rather than guiding. Suitable for experienced intermediate backcountry skiers looking to send big objectives and tentative guide level skiers to bone up on professional development. It’s the full stack involving all the soft skills and hard skills. There are prerequisites! Objectives: Mt Bogong / Mt Fainter & Mt Feathertop

Rescue Progression Series
Level 1: Lowering: Focuses on foundational rope systems, refreshing multi-pitch belays, ascending single ropes, and mastering techniques to safely lower a stuck or injured climber.
Level 2: Raising: Transitions to a single-pitch environment where participants learn how to haul a partner, establish assisted hoists, and perform safe escapes from the belay.
Level 3: Committing: Puts advanced partner rescue and problem-solving skills into practice in more remote environments, ensuring climbers are ready for committing adventure routes.
